Cooking

T has never had a desire to cook. She would make cookies and cakes, simple things like Mac and cheese, tacos, spaghetti but not a complete meal from start to finish. Monday there was no school so she seemed a little bored so we cooked New Mexico's Enchiladas, a recipe I found on someones blog ( sorry, can't find it now). She actually had to make everything from scratch and they were really yummy. We had some Spanish rice and chips to complete the meal. I think she has decided that cooking is fun! Tuesday she cooked Parmesan crusted Tilapia served with grilled veggies and salad. Once again a hit!!!

Isn't it great that there is someone else in the house who can cook. And now you know she won't starve or live on junk food for the rest of her life. When my oldest was a senior he decided to cook. In fact, he became a better cook than his mom and actually cooked supper for us almost every night for awhile.

Good job kiddo!

Just remember not all great meals have to be labor intensive.
