Soccer Season

snuck up on us! The pre-season started yesterday with 2 games in Bryan. T left on the bus at 6:45 and left about 7. It was extremely humid and as we were driving the backroads you could see white on the ground. We know it isn't snow but just a thin line of fog below the tree line. It was really pretty to see the fog so low. I guess starting soccer season at 7 am has at least one advantage. Next week it is the Woodlands in Houston, the next Carrollton, the next a big tournament here....so officially all we will do is high school soccer during the coldest months of the year here!

I feel your pain sista! Looks like we aren't doing the same tournaments. We have our alumni game today, then start with a tournament in Killeen next weekend, then RRISD, then Bryan.

ah, yes, soccer season. My DS Nick just started select soccer this past fall as a play-up for a U11 boys team, but I know I'd mentioned on the old SA site that DH plays every weekend (starts up again tomorrow every Sunday! *sigh*)...remember me, "Soccer Widow"? ;)

Honestly, I don't miss getting up early and bundling up and freezing in my chair. However, I do miss watching the kids play and networking with my favorite parents.

Ugh! I am enjoying my vacation from soccer season right now. Good luck with all of those games!
